This is Sadat Chowdhury’s research-oriented website.
I currently work as a Vice President at JP Morgan & Chase, in the area of Corporate and Investment Banking. I’m also an Assistant Professor (Adj.) in the Computer Information Systems department at Baruch College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY).
Prior to joining JP Morgan & Chase, I was the Director of Technology Research at Thaumaturgix, Inc.
My research interest is in biologically-inspired multi-agent machine learning systems that evolve using genetic programming techniques. I am part of the research group at the Agents Lab headed by Professor Elizabeth Sklar (my mentor) and Professor Simon Parsons.
I developed synthScape over several years; the software started as a hobbyist Artificial Life/Genetic Programming simulation and now it has become a research platform. The rest of the site describes the system, provides downloads, and will contain any publications, and interesting experimental results as they become available.
