This is Sadat Chowdhury’s research-oriented website.
I am the Director of Technology Research at Thaumaturgix, Inc. I’m also an Assistant Professor (Adj.) in the Information Systems department at Baruch College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY).
My research interest is in biologically-inspired multi-agent machine learning systems that evolve using genetic programming techniques. I am part of the research group at the Agents Lab headed by Professor Elizabeth Sklar (my mentor) and Professor Simon Parsons.
I developed synthScape over several years; the software started as a hobbyist Artificial Life/Genetic Programming simulation and now it has become a research platform. The rest of the site describes the system, provides downloads, and will contain any publications, and interesting experimental results as they become available.
